Biblical Apostolate Team
“And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
The Biblical Apostolate Team started in year 2003 with a single objective:
“To love and know the Word of God and enjoy the Fruits for the enrichment of our spiritual & Community life as a Church”
Fruits for Personal & Parish Life
- Fuller understanding of the Bible
- Richer appreciation of the faith tradition of the Church
- Stronger understanding of the connections between faith and life
- Deeper, more personal relationship with God
- Increased lay leadership and ministry within a parish
- Stronger sense of family and prayer
- Wider social concern and desire for service
- Fuller experience of Christian community
Bible Study is an opportunity to encounter God as well as learn about who we are as a Church. When people study God’s Word together in groups it becomes an opportunity to know each other on a deeper level than is usually possible. It becomes an opportunity to build community and to extend that community in care for others. Bible study leads to mature faith and active faith. It is not an end in itself, but a path that leads to greater involvement in parish and social ministries.
“Ignorance of scripture is Ignorance of Christ”… St Jerome
