Prayer Committee

“Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” (Luke 11:1c.)

Our Mission

• To promote and cultivate a passion for prayer to lead the people to become living reminders of God through prayer and faith formation, witnessing the love of Christ to others.

• To foster a deepening of faith and spirituality through prayer and devotion.

• To provide opportunities to deepen their faith through a variety of prayer experiences and celebrations.

The Prayer Committee is made up of 7 Prayer Ministries:

• Charismatic Prayer Group
• CTK Sodality
• Divine Mercy Prayer Group
• Indian Catholic Movement
• Legion of Mary
• Malayalam Prayer Group
• Christian Meditation Group

Activities

Plans and organises the following Parish events:

• Parish Day of Recollection
• Life in the Spirit Seminars
• An Evening with Mary
• Divine Mercy Feast Day
• Feast of St Faustina
• Recitation of the Rosary at the Grotto on every 13th of the month
