The Sacrament of Holy Communion

The doctrine of the Church is that Holy Communion is morally necessary for salvation, that is to say, without the graces of this sacrament it would be very difficult to resist grave temptations and avoid grievous sin.

Primary School Students

Primary school students who are in the F.I.R.E. Programme will automatically be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion when they are deemed ready to do so.

If your child has missed an intake, please email the FIRE Ministry at  to get him/her enrolled in a class for preparation to receive Holy Communion.

For Adults, you have to be a Catholic to receive Holy Communion. To know more about becoming a Catholic, please refer to the RCIA.

If you know of a home bound person who would like to receive Holy Communion, please call the Parish Secretary at 64599958.
